~Ricardo: My mother gifted me with my father's watch he had in his wrist when he passed away in an accident in ****. I used UPS (Panama City, FL) as a carrier to send the watch to be fixed in New Jersey. It was before Christmas. They have called me a few days later to inform that my package had arrived empty in the destination. They put a search and told me they would call me in a few days. I have just received a call from John who asked me to put a value to that watch. I told him the watch should cost around * thousand new and as an antique, probably double of that. He said the max he could do was to give me *** dollars. Just to show the value of a company we take for granted. Needless to say I am staying away from here.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting UPS. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a UPS problem?
~Ricardo: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Ricardo: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about UPS's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Ricardo: For that I would say four out of five.
